Want to change up your smoothie game and prep a Chai Smoothie for tomorrow? Here’s what to do: the night before: place a chai tea bag into a jar with 1/4 cup chia seeds, 1/4 cup oats and 1 cup of your milk of choice (we used Califia Farms unsweetened vanilla almond milk)
Leave jar in fridge overnight.
Next day: stir chia, remove tea bag and place in blender.
Add:
- 3 dates
- 1 Tbsp pecans
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- pinch ground cinnamon
- pinch nutmeg (optional)
- 1/3 cup milk of choice
- 1 scoop collagen peptides or protein powder we used Vital Proteins)
-large handful of ice
- 2 frozen bananas
Blend! Add extra milk if needed. Topped with Purely Elizabeth granola.
