Sometimes you need a chocolate smoothie to get you through Monday morning. Or as my toddler calls them “brown smoothies” Swipe for recipe!
Tips: Use ripe bananas, both fresh and frozen work well, if you’re using frozen adjust the ice.
Add to blender
1 Tbsp chia seeds
3 dates
2 Tbsp almond butter
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1 Tbsp oats
3 Tbsp hemp hearts
1/2 cup milk of choice
Blend!
Then add to blender
large handful of ice
2 frozen bananas
large handful frozen spinach
1/2 cup milk of choice (adjust to desired thickness)
Blend!
Serves 2. Enjoy!
